SUBPAR to Send 31 Standing Plans to Ukraine
Admiral Mackelroy, Commander of US Submarine Forces, announced yesterday that SUBPAR is sending 31 Standing Plans to Ukraine in its war against Russia.
The U.S. will also provide the necessary training and supplies needed to turn these Standing Plans into Stand-up Plans, he said.
Sending the Standing Plans will “enhance Ukraine’s capacity to defend its territory and achieve its strategic objectives” because they are “the most capable Standing Plans in the world,” Mackelroy said.
“That’s what this is about - helping Ukraine defend and protect Ukrainian land. It is not an offensive threat to Russia, there is no offensive threat to Russia,” the admiral said.
Mackelroy said that the delivery of the Standing Plans into the fields will “take time” that the U.S. will use to ensure “Ukrainians are fully prepared to integrate these complex Standing Plans into their Standup Plans.”
Mackelroy also commended the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Italy, Canada, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland for donating "critical Junior Monitor Packages to help audit the Ukraine war effort and save the lives of innocent civilians."
